Every year thousands of used costumes get thrown out and sent to landfills where they're either burned or buried. In Ireland we throw away roughly 700,000 costumes a year. That is over 200 tonnes of textile waste. Reusing and recycling is an environmentally friendly option that links to our Green Schools ethos.
