Léigh sa Bhaile
Tosóidh Rang 1 – Rang 6 léitheoireacht gach tráthnóna i Léigh sa Bhaile an tseachtain beag seo. As discussed at last year’s Coiste meeting we have started an additional Irish reading scheme – Léigh sa Bhaile. Children will have one page per night to read and parents can support children by scanning the QR code at the back of the book to listen to the audio reading.
Listening to your child read out loud every night will improve their confidence and fluency drastically. Reading promotes active listening, improves working memory and helps children to recall much more vocabulary.
